Snapmaker 20W & 40W Laser Module With Air Assist
20W & 40W Laser Power, A New Benchmark
Cutting-edge laser beam splitting technology
Snapmaker 20W & 40W Laser Modules are the latest high power diode laser add-ons with Air Assist.
Both of them provide excellent performance with the most advanced laser beam splitters and beam shaping optics. When it comes to the speed of cutting 3mm Basswood Plywood, 40W Laser Module is 4 times that of 10W and 20W Laser Module is 2 times that of 10W.
Snapmaker 2.0 and Artisan users can upgrade their printers to much more powerful desktop laser cutters with these two powerful modules!
Compatible with Snapmaker Printers and Modules
20W & 40W Laser Modules are members of the Snapmaker 2.0 Series, Snapmaker Artisan Series and Snapmaker Ray Series. They are compatible with the 2.0 3D Printer, Artisan 3D Printer, Ray Laser Engraver and Cutter and other modules such as the Rotary Module, CAN Hub, Emergency Stop Button, 2.0 Enclosure and Air Purifier.

Smart Air Assist
Prevent charring, improve the quality of your work and keep laser lens clean.
Achieve cleaner cut with Air Assist
A Comparison Between Air Assist (ON) and Air Assist (OFF)
Control Air Assist via Luban
When engraving and cutting at the same time, it is not recommended to use Air Assist on all layers. Therefore, Luban allows you to activate Air Assist only on cutting layers, saving you the hassle of manually turning it on or off for different layers.
1000+ Ready-to-use Templates, Right in Luban
Save time with Luban by designing in seconds with templates.
Luban provide an extensive library of preset templates, including common patterns, shapes and icons.
At your disposal: laser material profiles.
It provide the full sets of recommended parameters for comon laser materials and you can choose what you want to start with!
Laser Safety shield
It can reduce laser radiation. When used with the Enclosure for 2.0, Artisan or Ray, it can reduce the laser hazard from Class 4 to Class 1.
*This is a Class 4 laser product. You should always operate the 20W & 40W Laser Module with the Enclosuer covered and wear laser safety goggles.
Orientation Detection
We include a gyro sensor in the module to ensure that no laser beam is emitted if the module is installed incorrectly or moved out of position.
Overheat Protection
The module will automatically stop working if its temperature sensor detects a higher than normal working temperature (above 55℃/131℉). When the temperature returns to normal, you can resume your work on the touchscreen.
Easy to Focus
Enter material thickness and perform autofocus
Calibrate the focus by entering the material thickness on the touchscreen. The machine will autofocus according to the material thickness you enter.
Focus the Laser using the Focus Lever
Alternatively, you can focus the laser using the focus lever. Release the focus lever, move the tool head down until the focus lever touches the material by adjusting the Z offset on the touch screen. In just a few steps you can easily complete the calibration.
