【3D Printing News】Phrozen LCD 3D Printer: Slicing Tutorial!
We recently unboxed and introduced 3DMART's newly arrived "Phrozen Sonic LCD 3D Printer," which received rave reviews for its impressive results. This time, we're providing a complete tutorial for its exclusive slicing software, "FormWare":
The demonstration shows pre-print preparation using the 3DMART test cube model. While seemingly simple, the cube model has complex details on all six sides, including a central sphere, assemblable structures, and extremely thin protruding edges, all of which highly challenge the precision of Phrozen LCD printing.

If this is your first time using a Phrozen 3D printer, after unboxing, please calibrate the Z-axis using an A4 white paper. When the print platform descends to the bottom and is flush with the paper, secure the platform with screws, and finally, pour the required resin into the resin vat.
After importing the model into the FormWare slicing software, the object will automatically display two areas, "red" and "yellow," where support structures need to be created. Establishing sufficient support is crucial for improving printing stability and ensuring that the object, when at a 45° angle, does not collapse or get damaged due to gravity.
(Supports "must" be created in the red areas, while they are "recommended" for the yellow areas to ensure the integrity of the 3D model.)
If support structures overlap with the 3D model, the software will automatically detect and display the error in "red." Double-checking and adjusting the breakpoints before slicing can effectively reduce resin consumption and improve integrity.

Once the pre-print settings are complete, you can upload sliced files via network or USB and connect to the Phrozen Sonic. What's more, purchasing this model includes the professional FormWare software! The simple web upload interface and the printer's touchscreen allow users to follow instructions clearly and easily.
(Enter the unique IP serial number provided with each Phrozen 3D printer on the webpage to easily log in, operate, and activate it for use.)

The intricate lettering on the 3DMART test cube, a 3D shape with a total length of 2cm and thickness of less than 1mm, is still very clearly 3D printed.

All six sides of the 3DMART test cube have interlocking structures. The grooves on the protruding shapes are only 2mm wide and can serve as a business card holder for your desk.
The actual test results are so amazing! We're also 3D printing Marvel's superhero "Thor," with his lifelike fabric wrinkles, muscle definition, and intricate details on his hammer. It's truly stunning. Make your own superhero now! (Further reading: "Alien" Born: Phrozen LCD 3D Printer Unboxing!)

Did you think that was all? The LCD 3D printed "Dragon" takes center stage as the grand finale! From its teeth, tongue, and whiskers to the dense scales on its back and sharp claws, such intricate details are still rendered with high quality. As a dragon enthusiast, I believe this would be a coveted collectible for many model players.
