II. Preparation
1. Assemble the equipment: Simply assemble the laser light pole, rigid document table, and fill light.
(When scanning identification cards, magazines, oily paper, glossy books, etc., which may cause glare, please turn off the top light and turn on the side fill light.)
2. Start the equipment: Plug the scanning hand button cable (you can also choose to connect the foot pedal, either one), the computer connection cable, and the power cable into the ports at the back of the device, and then turn on the switch at the back of the device's base.
3. Book cradle: When scanning books of a certain thickness, the books and documents will naturally have curved pages. You can use the "V-shaped book cradle" provided with the CZUR M3000 Pro to fix their position. For scanning flat, single sheets, simply place them within the scanning area.
4. Place books/documents for scanning: Place the book on the working platform. Check on the M3000 LCD screen if the black mat area fills the entire display, ensuring no desktop or clutter is visible around the edges, to guarantee the scanner's smart algorithm functions correctly.
III. Software Usage
1. Install the dedicated CZUR Scanner software (Click to download): The software is in Chinese, and its functions are intuitive and easy to understand, so even beginners don't need to worry. You can easily get started by following the instructions.

Open the CZUR Scanner software on your computer, select "Scanner," click "Start Scan" in the upper left corner, and the system will automatically display a real-time preview of the scanning area.

3. Color Mode

5. On the right side, select "Color Mode" and "Paper Processing Method," complete the settings according to your needs, and click the icon in the lower right to start scanning.
CZUR series scanners feature AI flattening technology. The software automatically displays "book spine lines" for left and right pages. Align the book to the center line, and the system will intelligently detect the actual curvature of the pages, ultimately flattening them automatically to produce a flat scanned result.
IV. Scanning Operation
Taking a book as an example, after centering the document, simply turn the book to the desired page, then press the scan button / foot pedal / scan button in the software (choose one of the three). Pressing the button completes the scan, with an average of 1.2 seconds per double page; each time a scan is completed, the software automatically displays the scan result.
V. Convert to Text File
CZUR M3000 Pro features an AI intelligent system with OCR text recognition (supporting 187 languages). Scanned image files can be directly converted and exported to formats such as Word, Excel, PDF, TIFF, and TXT.
In the software, select "Scanner" mode, then click on the scanned file. In the left function selection area: File Output > Word (OCR), you can immediately get the text file for that page.
VI. Finger Cots Usage
When scanning thick books like dictionaries or encyclopedias, the pages may flutter and be difficult to hold due to the book's curvature during page turning, and using your fingers to hold them down would be detected by the scanner. By using the yellow "dedicated finger cots" to press the edges of the book, the software will automatically remove the finger cot portion without any post-processing required.
(Setting before scanning: Paper settings > Remove fingers > Wear finger cot)
