The Creality LD-006 Resin 3D Printer is similar to the Phrozen Sonic Mighty 3D Printer we introduced previously (Click here to see: Phrozen Mighty Resin Video Tutorial: Even articulated models can be printed!). Both have a fully enclosed top cover structure, controlled by a touch screen, and use USB to upload 3D printing files. The package includes a power cord, scraper, toolbox, and instruction manual.
There are many types of resin 3D printers, and the Z-axis calibration procedures are largely similar. Using the same concept, after opening the machine's outer box, lift the fully enclosed cover and remove the components. Then, perform the 3-step Z-axis calibration:
1. Loosen the screws
Loosen the printing platform screws (no need to remove them), and loosen the resin vat screws (these need to be removed).
2. Place paper, start calibration
The Creality LD-006 comes with a calibration card. Place it on top of the LCD panel, then on the touchscreen, tap "Tool" > "Manual" to manually adjust the Z-axis printing platform up and down. Then tap "Set Z=0", and the printing platform will automatically lower until it is flat against the calibration card at the bottom.
3. Platform returns, calibration complete
Once completely flat against the paper at the bottom and the LCD panel, re-tighten the fixing screws on both sides of the platform. Finally, follow the instructions on the touchscreen, and the platform will rise back to the top, completing the calibration.
．Quartz lamp beads, upgraded light source
The Creality LD-006 Resin 3D Printer uses a new light source structure, with parallel UV and LCD quartz lamp bead design, which can illuminate UV light more uniformly, ensuring the quality of printed models and stable printing efficiency.
．Resin vat level indicator
Refer to the thoughtful level indicator design on the Creality LD-006 resin vat. After pouring in the resin you want to use, the machine will be ready (be careful not to exceed the maximum resin volume).
Click "Print" in the menu and select the 3D model slice file from the USB (Click here to see: ChituBox Slicer Software Tutorial). The maximum printing size can reach 192 x 120 x 250mm, satisfying various prototyping, model, and detailed part testing needs in fields such as dental molds, jewelry, and model design.
