Mobedia is an international digital learning platform that provides immersive experiential learning and content development using the latest technologies such as VR, 3D models, interactive tools, and 3D printing. The team combines hardware and software design, including movies, animations, and 3D modules, to create excellent interactive digital learning experiences. Recently, they collaborated with Kia Motors UK to develop a 3D printed experience kit, launched alongside the 25th anniversary of the Kia Sportage.

The new Kia Sportage boasts a series of improved features, including the latest exterior and interior design, new safety equipment and entertainment technology, and highly efficient powertrains that meet future emission standards, solidifying its position as one of Europe's best-selling models.

The dealership team can gain learning experiences through this Kia online academy, which helps them effectively demonstrate products, conduct test drives, and switch vehicles for customers when selling cars, among other more humanized marketing functions.
To increase engagement and understanding, these learning experiences include:
.Interactive build design, allowing users to build and understand exterior features that are fully compatible with 3D printed models upon completion.
.A video featuring a family with the New Sportage and a 3D printed car to highlight their key features.
.3D animations, gamification, and fun quizzes to reinforce knowledge and engagement.
.This learning experience was produced by Mobedia in their Manchester city center studio, with the video content filmed in Manchester.
Gary Bannister-Simm, Creative Director of the learning platform, emphasized: "Over the years, the Sportage has reinforced Kia's brand image, so we adopted 'building' as the main theme for the learning experience." The video also covers various accessories, including a full-color 3D printed display model of the exterior, as well as an assembly car body printed with an Ultimaker to help users better understand the composition of each structure.

"The interaction between the video and 3D printing connects imagination and reality, blurring the lines between virtual and physical. It provides a sensory learning experience—the more real the experience feels, the more information it can convey while focusing on the product."

Karen Fagan, Training Manager at Kia Motors UK, said: "This project in collaboration with Mobedia created customized learning that uses innovative approaches to encourage learners throughout the process. This unique method allows users to immerse themselves in the subject matter and leave a deeper impression of the knowledge."

"This learning approach also captures the spirit of the brand. This diverse learning experience makes the entire outcome, process, and project execution very interesting!" By combining 3D printing with 3D visualization technology, in addition to gaining a sense of the exterior, users can better understand the characteristics of the interior and structure, achieving personalized learning outcomes.

The application of 3D printing combined with other technologies is becoming more widespread. Although this project is not currently for sale to the public, if you own a 3D printer, you can also print your own car models. Alternatively, we also provide high-quality printing services, using original equipment to give you the same texture.
