【Vacuum Forming Application】Mold Duplication Function Reimagined, DT2 Operation Tutorial!
Desktop vacuum forming machines have always been popular, their light and convenient design allowing you to enjoy mold duplication at home! Today, 3DMART is unboxing the "Vaquform DT2 Vacuum Forming Machine" with powerful performance. Watch the full process here:
The vacuum-formed object used in the video is a human face model printed with the Ultimaker S5 3D printer and PLA filament, then processed with an alcohol polishing machine.

The 3D model surface has no obvious sharp edges, which challenges the fit and detail. This made me even more excited for the results of the Vaquform DT2 test!
The Vaquform DT2 offers a rich variety of original material sheets. This time, we chose to use two types of vacuum forming material sheets for the plastic molding tutorial: 0.5mm HIPS (white) and 0.5mm PETG (transparent).
The biggest difference from the FormBox is that the Vaquform DT2's digital screen iconifies all functions, making the operating steps simpler and clearer. Before heating, you can set the heating temperature, material sheet type, suction strength, thickness, and other data according to your needs. Even a 1°C precision difference can be manually adjusted, significantly improving the integrity and detail precision of the mold.
The ceramic heater inside the Vaquform DT2 can reach a maximum temperature of 280°C. During the heating process, be extra careful not to touch it with your hands to avoid burns. By correctly using the handle according to the steps, you can easily and safely get started!

The Vaquform DT2's built-in vacuum pump function handles all vacuum forming tasks. After vacuum forming the realistic 3D printed human face model, the concave and convex textures on the surface of the finished product are very delicate.

The desktop Vaquform DT2's high-airflow vacuum function can produce industrial-grade plastic shrink-formed objects. By following simple steps, anyone can infinitely replicate their creations, making it also very suitable for mass production and packaging. Want a simpler application?
