You can choose to connect to a computer or a mobile phone. With the dedicated Revo Scan software, you can edit and optimize 3D models for secondary processing and creation. The comprehensive backend editing functions such as "Clip", "Mesh", "Simplify", "Fill Holes", and "Align" can be used for adjusting and merging modeling operations. In addition, it simultaneously supports multiple software and file formats, including the three most common file formats: PLY, OBJ, and STL, and is compatible with most professional design software and 3D printers, perfectly realizing a complete creative experience of scanning, editing, and output.
Connecting to a Computer
Connect the USB data cable to your computer, open the software, and it's plug-and-play without any settings needed.
After opening the software, the top left shows the binocular infrared scan, and the bottom right is the color capture lens. You can instantly monitor the current scanning status. The large area in the middle of the screen displays the current 3D scanning construction. The brightly colored area is the currently scanned region, while other gray areas are yet to be scanned, making it easy to identify which areas have been scanned. The operation is simple and intuitive! The right column displays the distance between the scanner and the scanned object. Orange indicates too close, green indicates the optimal and better distance. Try to maintain the distance within the green range. It effectively supports long-distance scanning from 300mm to 800mm. The single scan range is 360*650mm@600mm.
RANGE's new aspherical lens has a single-frame repeatability accuracy of up to 0.1mm and 0.3mm 3D point cloud data. The high-precision calibration system can perfectly output professional-grade high-definition scan images. Scanning objects are categorized into general objects, dark and black objects, and human bodies. You can choose the best scanning scenario based on the object being scanned. If the scanned object has black parts, it is recommended to choose the "dark and black objects" option for easier capture.
Using it with a large turntable will be more convenient. It can bear super-large objects up to 200kg. The remote control can operate clockwise and counterclockwise rotation, so even large and heavy objects are no longer a concern to scan.
To achieve a better outdoor experience, the 'built-in power bank of the handle' provides complete wireless freedom for handheld scanning, extending power supply for up to 2 hours. Additionally, there are a 'phone holder' and 'detachable tripod' that can be used for different needs and scenarios, allowing seamless switching between fixed scanning, portable handheld, or indoor scanning and outdoor work, enabling free and unlimited creation!
