【Unboxing and Review】Picaso 3D Printer: Dual-Color, Dual-Material, Nozzle Switching in 5 Seconds!
The Picaso Designer X PRO 3D Printer is a dual-extruder 3D printer that uses 1.75mm filament. It features patented JetSwitch technology, allowing nozzle switching in 5 seconds for rapid dual-color or dual-material 3D printing. With a top-lifting door, the enclosed printing chamber can reach operating temperatures of up to 380°C. Watch the unboxing and review now:
After unboxing the machine, the box includes a toolkit (e.g., screws, needle-nose pliers, assembly parts), two rolls of 3D printing filament, and a power cord. What caught my eye was the vibrant and saturated color scheme of the tools included with the Picaso – opening the toolkit felt like looking at toy models!

The Picaso Designer X PRO has a maximum print volume of 200 x 200 x 210mm. Two rolls of 3D printing filament can be placed on each side inside the machine. We used the original silver PLA filament and ESUN PVA water-soluble filament, both included with the Picaso machine, for dual-material printing.

As the 3D printing operates, the Picaso Designer X PRO's display screen constantly records the printing time, the individual temperatures of both nozzles, the real-time temperature of the print bed, and the current completion percentage (%). This allows the user to clearly monitor the production progress.

After the dual-color 3D print is complete, the PVA water-soluble supports on Durotan, the Warcraft model, must be dissolved in water to obtain the final product.

(Submerge the 3D printed model directly in water; no manual removal is needed, and the water-soluble filament will gradually dissolve.)

(Observing the Warcraft model halfway through dissolution, the PVA in the body area has completely dissolved, and the PLA main body is smooth and flat, with no visual impact on its appearance. We look forward to the final result after complete dissolution.)
The Warcraft model is an assembly-type 3D printed model. We tested the Picaso's printing capabilities by focusing on the intricate details of the upper body structure. The finished product showcases clear muscle texture, dangling necklace details, braided hair, and various other high-quality structural expressions.
