【Pressure Forming】Create Customized, Precise Models! Mayku Multiplier Unboxing Guide!

Need a method to create precise prototypes, molds, or final product components? Look no further! The Mayku Multiplier is the professional and incredibly easy-to-use pressure former you've been searching for. In this article, you'll learn everything you need to know for your first unboxing of the Mayku Multiplier. Let's start with preparation! For your first use of the Multiplier, you'll need the following:

1. A pair of scissors
2. A helper to move the Multiplier with you (otherwise, you'll have to get stronger)

Upon first use, you'll see the unboxing kit. The Mayku Multiplier unboxing kit will include the following:

First, choose a well-ventilated area, use scissors to cut the straps, and open the carton lid. You will see a detailed quick start guide, as well as a QR Code. Scan it to register your Multiplier for warranty repair and technical support. Inside, there is also a toolkit containing an Allen wrench and a cleaning cloth for long-term maintenance of the pressure forming equipment; additionally, a complete user manual is included. We recommend reading the manual once before use to help you get started quickly.

Remove the foam and the outer carton box. Have a helper lift the Multiplier from below and place it on a stable surface.

Plug the power cable into the power port at the back of the Multiplier and turn on the power switch. Press the N-shaped button to start the device, then follow the instructions on the screen.

Meanwhile, enabling the analytics feature can help the manufacturer improve your user experience with the Multiplier pressure former.

Next, it's time for the unboxing test. After completing the setup, take out the sample from the unboxing kit for pressure forming. This sample is carefully designed to demonstrate the machine's performance and help you understand the details to pay attention to during the pressure forming process. Click on the screen to enter the Multiplier's menu, follow the on-screen instructions, and select the material and thickness you want to use. For the first test, we recommend using a 1mm white HIPS sheet.

Pull up the handle to open the device lid and place the material within the circular area of the forming zone; press down to close the lid, then rotate the lid's locking mechanism to secure the sheet in place.

Open the lid again, and you will hear the pressure building. The Multiplier will automatically heat the sheet to the specified temperature for different materials. The device will notify you when the temperature is reached.

As the heating process approaches completion, place the forming sample on the forming area. When the screen indicates that the sheet has reached the heating temperature, quickly press down the lid, slide the bottom locking mechanism, and then press the O forming button.

You will hear the sound of compressed air. The forming pressure during this process will reach up to five tons. After the automatic cooling process ends, the air in the pressure chamber will be released.

Once complete, you can unlock the lower slider, open the Multiplier, remove the formed sheet, and take out the original sample.

It is crucial to confirm the quality of the forming and the forming score on the Multiplier. The scoring system helps you understand the results of the forming and provides guidance for improving the forming effect.

The inspection includes appearance, dimensions, and detail accuracy to ensure the finished product has no obvious defects or missing corners and meets design requirements. Using the scoring system on the Multiplier, you can understand the success of the forming, such as surface smoothness, detail, and material uniformity. If there are any issues with the finished product or room for improvement, you can also refer to the suggestions or techniques in the user manual to adjust the forming process.
