The Matterport 3D scanner can be paired with all iOS devices (e.g., iPhone, iPad). Used with a camera tripod, you can quickly 3D scan spaces of any size with just one click, instantly generating a 134-megapixel 3D virtual space.
Each time a 3D scan is initiated, the Matterport 3D scanner rotates on its tripod, turning 6 times at 60-degree intervals to complete a 360-degree rotation. It can scan various areas within a space, depending on its size, to capture the most complete details, and then easily share online via a URL.
After completing the 3D panoramic scan, in addition to selecting points to move within the 3D space, you can freely switch to Dollhouse mode to view the exterior, move freely in interior close-up mode, and get a clear overview of the space layout with the top-down floor plan view. A special feature is the built-in MATTERTAGS function, which allows you to tag each item in the space individually, enabling viewers to click and view detailed introductions.
The built-in measuring tool in Matterport allows you to click on any wall, door, or window with your mouse after a 3D scan is complete. The system will automatically display measurement results based on the area you select.
