【3D Panoramas】"San Gu Mao Lu" Opens New Branch, Small Space, Big Impact!
Undeterred by the pandemic, "San Gu Mao Lu" opens a new PLUS store with a fresh new look, allowing customers to enjoy the fragrant, numbing, and spicy flavors in a refreshing space! Taiwanese people are notoriously fond of hot pots, and the market for spicy hot pot, braised dishes, etc., can generate an annual output value of about 250 billion. This time, we partnered with "Bono Design" to photograph the store renovation commissioned by "San Gu Mao Lu." 3DMart acted as the store manager for a day, taking you through the franchise site and store planning using 3D panoramas:
From its beginnings as a braised dish stall with red and black tones, "San Gu Mao Lu" has continuously transformed its store and brand style. From a more traditional cart format to today's fresh and bright store, the delicious taste of its soup remains unchanged. It was even named the favorite braised dish brand on Taiwanese delivery platforms for two consecutive years in 2019 and 2020, and currently has 132 branches across Taiwan.
How to plan takeout and dine-in areas, while also including the cooking station, storage, and cleaning areas within a small 35-ping space was a major challenge. As you can see through the 3D panoramic scan, the takeout area is separated by transparent glass, making the visual space wider. In addition, an extra takeout seat is provided for customers to rest, and the beverage refrigerator is placed in the checkout area for easy access when ordering meal sets.
The overall style after completion is primarily wood tones paired with exposed concrete, and to address hygiene concerns with traditional braised dish ingredient selection, "San Gu Mao Lu" uses ingredient cards for customers to choose from. This seemingly simple woodworking is actually quite elaborate, with each compartment precisely calculated and processed by skilled craftsmen, and even the metal dimensional letters on the wall are custom-made.

In the 3D panoramic space, you can not only move freely but also get a closer look at the quality of the decor. Similar to "Bono Design's" previous work — the YSolar meeting space — they provide end-to-end project management from design to completion. Construction details are all visible through the Matterport scanner, and even the cooking area, which is usually inaccessible, can be clearly seen. The ingredient area is divided into multiple small compartments, preventing cross-contamination, and there's a super-large ingredient refrigerator in the back, ensuring you enjoy the spice and eat with peace of mind.
