Our previous article also introduced using SLA resin 3D printers to print casting objects, which are then sent to a factory for lost-wax casting.
Now we have a new secret weapon: PolyCast filament. PolyCast is a material specifically designed for investment casting (lost-wax casting). It can be polished with an alcohol polisher and completely burns away during casting to ensure the integrity of the mold cavity.
We've introduced so much, aren't you eager to see what we've printed?
What?! It's a human head! And it's a very resourceful choice, using the head of a company colleague. The process involves scanning the head with a scanner to generate a 3D file, then 3D printing the head model.

Next, the printed head is placed into the Polysher alcohol polisher.

The head rotates very relaxed, in a slightly tipsy state, waiting for a few minutes.

The tipsy head polishing is complete, look at its reborn appearance, with a smooth and delicate surface.
If this machine could be used on real faces, cosmetic clinics would probably go out of business, it's truly amazing!

The final finished brass head.
Let's look at other cast products!

The final brass heads, all with very smooth surfaces.

Three golden heads in a row.

Having the boss's head as a small decoration doesn't seem bad either (?).
Now, by simply using this PolyCast filament, you can quickly produce small batches of metal parts, eliminating the need to invest a huge amount of money in molds. 3D printing saves you more than 10 times the money and time.
