【3D Printing News】Print Your Own Architectural Models
Young people nowadays lament that they can't afford a house, only able to gaze longingly at beautiful buildings they can't own. Since buying a house isn't an option, a miniature architectural model to satisfy the craving is a good start.
Let's use 3D printing to create our own buildings!
This time, we used the Ultimaker 3 to print small architectural models. We uniformly used PLA in silver, combined with water-soluble PVA for support. Let's take a look at the models before soaking them in water!
After soaking in water, the PVA support parts completely dissolve, revealing the exquisite architectural models.
First, let's look at the first modern skyscraper. Its streamlined design is very eye-catching. Upon closer inspection, we can see that the details of the text at the top of the building are meticulously rendered, and the layout of the circular area above is clearly presented.
The second building is a residential house. Don't underestimate its ordinary appearance; in fact, various furniture and accessories are also printed inside the house. The precision with which all the furniture is rendered is almost identical to a professional architectural model.

For the third building, the dense vertical lines on top are perfectly rendered, and many details can also be seen in the curved areas next to it!
Finally, a group photo! It really looks magnificent when displayed together.
