The 3D printing technology sharing session hosted by 3DMart on December 21st has successfully concluded! What was the scene like on that day? What actual content was shared? Let's take a look now!
After checking in, attendees could choose their seats freely. Good seats were first-come, first-served, and the early bird gets the worm! Notebooks were provided, hoping everyone would leave with a wealth of knowledge.
Abundant snacks and drinks awaited everyone. We weren't afraid you'd eat too much, only that you'd be hungry. There was also coffee, so no worries about falling asleep!
As attendees arrived, they showed great interest in the samples before the event began. Some guests even got a sneak peek at our unreleased Sinterit latest samples; for those who couldn't attend, please stay tuned for our upcoming sharing!
This time, quite a number of guests attended, almost filling 3DMart's reception room. Everyone was very supportive!
First, OITC Information introduced the functions and basic concepts of Autodesk Inventor software, including other file formats it can connect with and compatible software. Additionally, various modeling applications, manufacturing process flows, and fundamental modeling concepts were covered.
This included understanding the concept of product design using 3D software combined with 3D printing. The example used for demonstration was the file for our gift this time – a heart-shaped lock box; and the differences between additive manufacturing and traditional manufacturing in component production.
For the introduction to 3D printing, in addition to a detailed explanation of the principles of the three most common forming technologies—SLS laser powder sintering, SLA stereolithography, and FDM fused deposition modeling—it also included sharing our various latest prints with everyone.
With the instructor's step-by-step explanations, everyone gained a better understanding of the characteristics of 3D printed products made with different technologies. (Further reading: How to choose?! A comparison of common 3D printing methods!)
Finally, there was a practical demonstration of 3D printer operation, including how to quickly replace nozzles, the differences in filament loading ports between Ultimaker 3 and Ultimaker S5, and touchscreen operation.
During the final Q&A session, everyone asked very actively and posed in-depth technical questions. The editor also learned a lot! Thank you all for actively participating in this event.
