~MakerFaire came to a perfect close~
The MakerFaire event on the weekend of May 30th and 31st was a great success. Thank you to everyone who came to join us and share in the fun! Even with some brief showers, it couldn't stop us from meeting! The crowds at the exhibition were much larger than we expected, and everyone was very enthusiastic and engaged. Therefore, we apologize for any shortcomings in our hospitality. Please bear with us.We were really happy to see all of you that day, whether you found us through online marketplaces, discovered us on our official website, were introduced to us by someone, or were friends quietly following our Facebook page. Everyone came to see us and say hello, and all of these interactions deeply moved us.
Through these face-to-face conversations, we were able to better understand your thoughts and needs. We've also compiled a summary of common questions from the exhibition, so you might find answers to your own queries :)
Q: What do you mainly do? Do you sell 3D printing filaments?
A: We started by distributing 3D printing filaments from Europe and America (now also including the Chinese brand Esun), then moved on to distributing photosensitive resins from European and American brands (for SLA/DLP machines), and now we are also distributing 3D printers from European and American brands.
Q: You have a wide variety of filaments. Can only your 3D printers use them?
A: Most 3D printers can use our filaments; they are not machine-locked. Basically, as long as the 3D printer's temperature can meet the filament's requirements, it can be used. Other requirements, such as a heated bed, may vary depending on the filament.
Q: You have a diverse range of 3D printing filaments. Which do you recommend most?
A: We make recommendations based on individual needs. Everyone's needs are different, and we will help you find the most suitable option!
Q: Wow~ Can you print with metal too?!
A: Yes! That's right!
Q: Are metal filaments conductive?
A: ColorFabb's metal series is not conductive (the vase series displayed at the exhibition). For conductive series, we recommend these two:
3D Printing Conductive Filaments
Q: Your filaments are quite expensive per spool compared to others, aren't they?
A: Our products are mainly imported from Europe and America, which significantly increases costs (including shipping/customs duties), but the quality of the printed products is also greatly improved.
Q: Do you have sample packs? I'm not sure if my 3D printer can use your materials, and I don't want to buy a whole spool at once.
A: We have sample packs (10M) available for purchase.
Q: Why do we have to buy your sample packs? Other companies give them away for free?
A: Mainly because foreign manufacturers do not provide us with sample packs to distribute, and due to cost factors, we cannot meet everyone's expectations. We are truly sorry about this.. :( This exhibition, Ninjaflex provided small packages of TPE filament for us to distribute on-site, and they were all given out during the exhibition. For future exhibitions, we will inform foreign manufacturers in advance to
strive for sample packs for everyone to try~
Q: Your printed works are very delicate. Is it due to the printer or the material?
A: We have some experience in using 3D printers, and with high-quality filaments, the machine's high stability, and the right timing, location, and human effort (no strong winds, earthquakes, or thunder), perfect objects are produced~ :D
The above is a summary of questions from the exhibition. If you have any other questions, please feel free to email client@3dmart.com.tw to inquire!
Thank you to all the friends who came to see us during the exhibition and took the time to visit our booth!
In the future, we will continue to introduce more new and updated filaments and printers, allowing Taiwanese Makers to stay at the forefront of the times!
We look forward to seeing you all again~
