The Kaohsiung Maker Faire in southern Taiwan has successfully concluded, filled with creative crafts and educational science; adults and children alike had a great time. Let's look back at the grand event! Welcoming posters were seen everywhere in front of the Kaohsiung Zhongzheng Martial Arts Stadium, and children's performances could be seen on the central stage outside the venue, with everyone giving their best.
There were also stage events inside, and 3DMart was invited to explain 3D printing technology and science, as well as cases used for handcrafting.
It was a rare opportunity to exhibit in Kaohsiung, so we applied for three booths this time, filling them with exhibits to let everyone see all three technologies at once (Further reading: A Grand Comparison of 3 3D Printing Technologies).
Not only that, we even brought two Ultimaker series 3D printers, an Ultimaker S5 and an Ultimaker 3, and printed giveaways on-site.
I managed to take photos of the fully arranged exhibits before the opening. As soon as we opened, someone immediately asked about them, and the children who came in later were even more curious and lively! Whenever 3DMart participates in an exhibition, professional staff are always present to provide technical explanations.
Many craft booths were packed with people. This exhibition featured some small robots and remote-controlled transport aircraft; it's clear that technology is gradually entering schools, and both adults and children now understand the basic concepts of 3D printers. The speed at which everyone is acquiring new knowledge far exceeds what we saw at other exhibitions two or three years ago.
