【3D Printing Application】The Rise of Women's Power in 2020: The "Collaborative" Gown is Here!
Historically, women have been underrepresented in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) industries. However, with the recent rise of gender equality and feminism, more and more women are making significant impacts and contributions in STEAM fields. Despite their achievements, their accomplishments are still not fully recognized by the world.
To honor women in STEAM, Sylvia Heisel, founder of American 3D fashion brand "Heisel," and her design team created a 3D-printed artwork called "Names Dress."

The "Heisel" brand, influenced by 3D printing technology, continuously develops new fabrics, breaking through traditional notions of garment manufacturing while pursuing durable, eco-friendly, and sustainable materials and strictly adhering to zero-waste production.
The names on the 3D-printed dress include Sarah Goehrke, who actively promotes STEAM education for women, Marie Curie, Florence Nightingale, and other women who have made great contributions to society. It's also worth noting that it includes Ms. Nora Touré, the "founder of 3D printing."
The "Names Dress" gown will also be exhibited at the "Salvatore Ferragamo" Museum in Florence on International Women's Day (March 8th), 2020. We look forward to women continuing to give their all in their respective industries and creating more possibilities in the future!
