FAQs

What are the main differences between the three versions of O1 Omni? How should I choose?

UV + DT Fabric Version: Perfect for users who want to satisfy various needs at once. With dual print heads and dedicated fabric inks, you can print on hard objects like wood and acrylic, as well as on fabrics like cotton and polyester.

Dual Print Head UV Version: Ideal for creators focused on advanced UV applications. Supports exclusive fluorescent color effects and flexible white ink, allowing printing on both hard and flexible materials like leather and canvas.

Single UV Version: Suitable for beginners and hobbyists. Achieve high-quality personalized creations on basic hard materials at a more affordable price.

Can I upgrade the Single UV Version to the Dual Print Head UV Version or UV + DT Fabric Version later?

No. Each version comes with a dedicated print head combination and ink system configured at the factory. Since these components are installed during manufacturing, it's not possible to upgrade the version later. We recommend choosing the version that best meets your long-term printing needs.

Does the UV + DT Fabric Version support fluorescent ink and flexible white ink?

No, it does not. The UV + DT Fabric version uses the second print head for textile printing, including DTG and DTF. If you need fluorescent effects or flexible white ink on materials like leather, we recommend choosing the Dual Print Head UV Version.

What additional equipment is needed for DTF and DTG fabric printing?

The UV + DT Fabric version of the O1 Omni Printer supports both DTG direct printing and DTF film printing.

DTF Printing: The O1 Omni prints the design onto a film first. Then, simply apply hot melt adhesive powder and use a heat press—such as the xTool WonderPress with its built-in curing function—to melt the powder and transfer the design. Combining these creates a smooth, one-stop DTF workflow.

DTG Printing: It is recommended to pre-press the fabric with a heat press before printing and cure the ink after printing to enhance washability and achieve professional-grade print results.

Can O1 work with xTool laser machines to achieve print-then-cut or cut-then-print workflows?

Yes. O1 operates seamlessly within the xTool Studio ecosystem, currently supporting P3, P2, P2S, S1, M2, and M1 Ultra.

When your O1 Omni Printer arrives, these workflows will be fully supported, allowing you to start creating immediately. We will continue to add support for more xTool laser machines, including F-series models for workflows like engrave-then-print.
