With a formulation optimized through Bambu Lab's 3D printing experience, PLA Basic offers strong layer adhesion, improved impact resistance and dependable durability compared with conventional standard PLA.

Bambu PLA Basic can reach printing speeds of up to approximately 258 mm/s, helping reduce overall printing time while maintaining reliable print quality.

RFID for Intelligent Printing

Printing parameters are embedded in the RFID tag and can be automatically read by compatible Bambu Lab AMS systems. Simply load the filament and start printing without repeatedly entering material settings manually.

Refill System

This product is supplied as a refill without a spool. Install the refill onto a compatible Bambu Reusable Spool before use. The reusable spool system helps reduce unnecessary spool waste and allows the spool to be used again with future refill packs.

Refill version does not include a spool.

Recommended Drying & Storage

For the best printing quality and a consistent surface finish, Bambu Lab recommends drying PLA Basic before use when necessary and keeping the filament dry during storage.

Blast Drying Oven	50°C for 8 hours
AMS 2 Pro / AMS HT	55°C for 8 hours
X1 Series Heated Bed	60–70°C for 12 hours
Storage	Keep sealed in a dry environment after use
