Formlabs Form Cure L V2 120V Temperature-Controlled Curing Unit
Formlabs Form Cure L V2 120V Temperature-Controlled Curing Unit
The Formlabs Form Cure L V2 combines heat and 405 nm UV light to precisely and quickly post-cure large models. Compared to its predecessor, the new model boasts 5 times the UV power, faster heat-up times, a 26% smaller footprint, and can process up to 19% larger prints. When paired with the Form 4L/Form 4BL, curing can be completed in as little as 60 seconds. Users can simply select from over 45+ factory-validated material presets to begin curing; advanced users can also customize time and temperature to meet different application needs. Post-curing completes the chemical processes that begin during printing, further enhancing the strength, toughness, heat resistance, and creep resistance of the finished product, while also making the surface harder and less tacky. For biocompatible materials, post-curing is also a necessary step to meet regulatory safety standards.
Form Cure (2nd Gen) precisely combines heat and 405 nm light to cure tough, durable prints with unprecedented speed and consistency. Now, you can post-cure Form 4/B prints in as little as 60 seconds with 4X more UV power, 5X faster heat-up time, and 1.3X larger chamber size. Simply choose from validated presets for 45+ Formlabs materials to start curing. Advanced users can customize time and temperature to their specific needs. Post-curing completes the chemical reactions begun during printing, enhancing the final part’s strength, toughness, heat resistance, and creep resistance, while creating a harder, less tacky surface. For biocompatible materials, post-curing is required to meet safety standards determined by regulatory bodies.
