What type of laser is the F1 Ultra? Is it a true fiber laser?

The F1 Ultra is a laser equipped with a 20W fiber laser and a 20W vibrating semiconductor diode laser. The F1 Ultra can engrave almost all common materials in daily life. The diode laser performs best on wood, acrylic, leather, stone, glass, ceramics and other materials, while the fiber laser can clearly engrave on all metals (stainless steel, aluminum, gold, zinc, titanium, copper) and plastics. The F1 Ultra uses a true fiber laser. It uses ultraviolet light as the laser source, and fiber (diode-pumped fiber laser) is used for the amplification medium. Both are core components of laser generation. When the laser source illuminates the amplification medium, a laser beam is generated, and the amplification medium amplifies the intensity of the laser beam. Unlike the S1 and F1 models and other ultraviolet lasers on the market that use diode-pumped solid-state lasers (DPSS) as the amplification medium, the F1 Ultra uses a fiber amplification medium to maximize laser power. Therefore, it can achieve deeper engraving and cutting at the same power level.

How does the F1 Ultra perform on metal? Can it cut metal?

The F1 Ultra can deeply engrave, emboss and even cut metal. The F1 Ultra can cut 0.4mm thick brass, 0.3mm thick stainless steel and 0.2mm thick aluminum strips.

Is the F1 Ultra compatible with F1 accessories?

The F1 Ultra will be compatible with RA2 Pro. For fume extractors, we recommend the SafetyPro™ AP2 air purifier because it has larger airflow and longer filter replacement life.

Does the F1 Ultra support shell replacement?

The F1 Ultra's casing does not support replacement for the following reasons:
First, the F1 Ultra has the largest processing area among desktop fiber engraving machines.
Second, the F1 Ultra uses micro-beam technology, which can maintain the original delicate image even at the corners of the working area.
Third, the F1 Ultra's casing is well protected, and we designed an airflow channel (i.e., fan blades) to expel all dust generated during engraving outside the machine.
