Fully Automated Material Change
The Vortek system seamlessly collaborates with the highly reliable AMS (Automatic Material System), automating the entire material changing process—no need to manually load each material into the toolhead.
Always the Most Efficient Combination
The Vortek system stores material information in the hotend's memory, ensuring each hotend matches the correct material.
If you're printing with more than seven materials, the system calculates the optimal combination to minimize waste.
Why Vortek?
Premium Printing Performance
Higher high-speed reliability and real-time error detection.
The PMSM servo extruder delivers a maximum extrusion force of up to 10 kg—70% higher than stepper motors—significantly enhancing the stability of high-flow extrusion.
Bambu Lab's proprietary servo architecture samples resistance and position at 20 kHz, actively detecting filament wear and clogs in real time.
50µm Ultra-fine Motion Accuracy
With its visual encoder, the H2C achieves distance-independent motion accuracy of less than 50 microns (thinner than a strand of hair).
The system automatically compensates for any mechanical drift during calibration, ensuring stable accuracy and excellent performance over the long term.
Smooth Surfaces, Sharp Edges
The H2C utilizes a servo motor on the extruder and a high-resolution eddy current sensor on the nozzle to sense extrusion dynamics.
This allows for more precise extrusion control and automatic calibration of Pressure Advance (PA) parameters for each filament, resulting in smoother surfaces and sharper, crisper edges.
Unlock the Full Potential of High-Performance Materials
The H2C's 65°C active heated chamber and 350°C nozzle minimize warping and deformation while enhancing layer adhesion, enabling high-performance, high-temperature filaments.
Comprehensive Print Monitoring
The H2C is equipped with 59 sensors* and a four-camera computer vision system, all working in concert with our proprietary neural network algorithm.
During printing, the system provides intelligent real-time diagnostics, detecting even the slightest print anomalies in an instant.
You don't need to be an expert to troubleshoot—your printer does it automatically.
AI Camera
The H2C is equipped with an AI-powered camera system. This intelligent monitoring system continuously tracks extrusion patterns, detecting material accumulation, filament deviation, and extrusion failures in real time.
Additionally, it performs pre-flight scans to ensure a safe start.
Class-Leading Air Filtration
The H2C's three-stage filtration system is crucial for printing engineering filaments.
A powerful combination of a G3 pre-filter, H12 HEPA filter, and coconut shell activated carbon filter effectively reduces odors and harmful particulate matter often generated during the printing of engineering materials.
Flame-Retardant Construction
The H2C's chamber is constructed entirely from flame-retardant materials, providing robust passive fire safety for the entire enclosure.
Flexible Cybersecurity and Connectivity
The H2C offers convenient cloud connectivity for remote control from any device.
For high-security applications, it also provides full offline capability, ensuring complete physical isolation. Users can operate the printer, transfer files, and update firmware without an internet connection.
For advanced users, Developer Mode enables MQTT port access for easy integration with third-party components and software.

FAQ
1. What hotends are included with the H2C Combo?
The H2C AMS Combo/Laser Full Kit includes 8 hotends and 1 AMS 2 Pro:
Right Hotend (Inductive Hotend): 4x 0.4mm hardened steel inductive hotends, one of which is pre-installed on the printer, and 3 are included in the accessory box. The accessory box also contains 1x 0.2mm inductive hotend and 1x 0.6mm inductive hotend.
Left Hotend (Standard Hotend): 2x 0.4mm hardened steel standard hotends, one of which is pre-installed, and 1 is included in the accessory box.
Currently, the firmware supports mixed flow printing (standard flow + high flow), but does not yet support mixing different nozzle sizes during printing. If this feature is added in the future, it will be provided via a software update.
2. If I want full hotend changing capabilities, what additional hotends do I need? How should the AMS be connected?
To fully experience the Vortek 6 hotend automatic changing system, it is recommended to purchase the H2C Ultimate Kit:
3x 0.4mm inductive hotends, 1x 0.2mm left hotend, 1x 0.6mm left hotend, 1x AMS 2 Pro, 1x AMS HT.
Combined with the AMS 2 Pro included with the H2C Combo, you will have 2 × AMS 2 Pro + 1 × AMS HT.
Optimal configuration: Two AMS 2 Pro units feed the right inductive hotends; one AMS HT unit feeds the left hotend. This enables automatic switching between 7 hotends.
Other options:
- Multi-AMS configuration: Add 2 more AMS HT units, with all three AMS units feeding the right hotends.
- Future configuration (2026): A filament rail switching module will be released, supporting 7 hotends with only 2 AMS units.
