【3D Printing Tutorial】Star Wars: Phrozen Resin 3D Printing Full Record!

Star Wars fans rejoice! The second season of "Star Wars: The Mandalorian" just finished airing at the end of 2020, still craving more? Through the unboxing and hands-on review of the "Phrozen Sonic Mighty 4K Resin 3D Printer", let the Mandalorian and Master Yoda step out of the screen and into your sight. At the end of the article, we reveal the details of the 3D printed models and provide free download links for the models. With 3 steps for calibration and 5 steps for slicing, accompanied by clear text and images, even beginners can easily get started!

.3 Steps for Platform Calibration
First, remove the toolbox and foam from the top cover of the Phrozen Sonic Mighty. Loosen the nuts on both sides of the resin vat below, then lift out the resin vat to perform platform calibration:

1. Loosen the build plate screws
Loosen the fixing screws on the upper build plate (no need to remove them).

2. Place paper, one-click calibration
Place a piece of paper on the LCD panel, click "Tool" > "Z Calib" on the screen, and the build plate will automatically lower to the LCD platform.

3. Tighten screws, automatic retraction
Wait for the platform to completely flatten against the paper at the bottom and the LCD panel. Tighten the four screws again, then click "Done" on the screen. The platform will rise back to the top, completing the calibration.

Confirm the above 3 steps and check if the bottom LCD curing light is on. Finally, lock the resin vat, and the 3D printer is ready.
.5 Steps for Model Slicing
Before creating with the Phrozen Sonic Mighty 3D printer, you need to use the CHITUBOX slicer software to slice the model:
1. Click "Settings" to enter the settings page.

2. Click the "" Add icon to enter the device selection interface and find the designated resin 3D printer "Phrozen Sonic Mighty 4K".

3. According to your preferences and material requirements, choose the Phrozen resin to use. (Click here to download: Phrozen Sonic Mighty 4K Resin Parameters)

4. Insert the 3D model file, click the "Support" page, and then click "". Users can adjust the detailed parameters according to their preferences and printing conditions.

5. After the data settings are complete, drag the slider on the right to view and simulate the actual molding process. Before starting 3D printing, check every overhang of the model to ensure that supports are fully generated.

Finally, click "Slice" to obtain the model slice file. After the software calculation, detailed information will be displayed, including the material resin type and printing time. Save the file to a USB drive (the file extension must be .ctb), then read it on the Phrozen Sonic Mighty 4K and start printing.

After the 3D printing is completed, a 20cm tall "Mandalorian" is born, along with its support structure! After removing the supports with an ultrasonic cutter, you can clearly see the high-precision details, from the armor on his body, the cape, weapons, bullet belt, to the fabric on his arms and the纹路 on his fingers. The effect is incredibly delicate and impressive!

We also performed resin 3D printing of the Mandalorian's partner in the series, "Master Yoda", following the same steps. Even with a small Yoda of only 5 x 4.5 cm, the facial wrinkles, eyelids, and clothing folds are clearly visible. After assembly with the base, it's complete! This is definitely a must-have model collectible for Star Wars fans.
