The Snapmaker 3-in-1 3D printer series includes Snapmaker Original and Snapmaker 2.0 (A150 / A250 / A350), totaling four models. All of them combine three technologies: 3D printing, laser engraving, and CNC carving. Today, we're using the Snapmaker 2.0 A350 to reveal the test results!
All devices are equipped with touchscreens that automatically display the progress in percentages. Users can easily operate them by following the on-screen steps, and automatic calibration is achieved with a single press of a button.
Snapmaker consists of three interchangeable modules, compact in size and easy to assemble/disassemble. First, we assembled the 3D printing module and 3D printed a muscular version of the Pokémon Diglett (16.5 x 11.5 x 10cm). After completion, the supports were quickly removed, resulting in a smooth-surfaced, tightly layered, and finely detailed finished product.
After changing the module and work platform, we then tested the laser engraving effect. After securing the wooden board, we began detailed engraving of a kitten (6 x 10cm). The fluffy fur, delicate gradients, and sparkling eyes were all precisely engraved. The finished product is astonishingly high in quality!
Finally, we used the third module, CNC, to mill a chemical wood block to test the effect (processing size: 9x5cm). In a short time, neat and flat edges were carved. After simply cleaning the powder, all details became clear. You can choose to use the Snapmaker series enclosed housing to isolate external environmental factors during operation, effectively maintaining stable operation and a clean working environment.
