【Hands-on Video】Phrozen Mega 8K Unboxing: Print an Army of Models at Once!
Are you still printing large batches of models in separate parts or pieces? Print an army of models all at once! I. Unboxing Steps
The print platform of the Phrozen Sonic Mega 8K comes pre-calibrated, so it can be used directly after unboxing without any additional calibration procedures!
After unboxing, place the 3D printer on a flat surface, peel off the protective film, and you'll see the machine features sliding doors on both sides. Take out the components from inside the machine, which include a 15-inch large print platform, power cable, and a toolbox (scraper/gloves/funnel... and other complete tools).
Plug in the power cord, start the machine, install the print platform, and tighten the top screws. You can set the downward distance using the touchscreen to manually adjust the Z-axis position; then, start and test the 15-inch large LCD panel. Finally, pour the desired resin into the resin vat to complete the pre-printing setup for 3D printing.
II. 3D Model Slicing
1. Click "Settings" to enter the settings page.
2. Click the "Add" icon to enter the device selection interface, then find the specified 3D printer, "Phrozen Sonic Mega 8K".
3. Select the resin to be used.
4. Insert the 3D model file, click the "Generate Support" page, and users can adjust detailed parameters according to printing conditions.
5. After the data settings are complete, drag the slider on the right to view and simulate the actual molding process. Before starting 3D printing, check whether every overhang of the model has complete support structures.
Finally, click "Slice" to obtain the model slice file. After the software calculation, detailed information will be displayed, including material resin type and printing time.
After the resin 3D printing is complete, the model surface will be covered with liquid resin. Use a UV post-curing light to cure the model and remove the model's support structures (Click here to see: Phrozen Mighty Full Tutorial: Even articulated models can be printed).
