GUS

Not only does he have an interesting design, but he is also incredibly easy to 3D print. This gnome requires no supports or infill; for larger versions, the designer chose a resolution of 0.2 mm, while for smaller versions, a lower 0.12 mm was selected.
If you plan to place it outdoors, PLA may not be the best choice, so consider more durable materials like PETG.
The smaller version is only 9 cm tall, and regardless of size, it can serve as a fun painting subject.
One maker made a clever choice: they used marble PLA for the beard to create a very cool look.
Man 2 Autumn

Gnomes are inherently creatures that love the earth and gardens, and even if you don't have a garden, you can still have a little gnome of your own.
This little guy has some lovely design details, with decorations on his hat and holding a pumpkin and a sunflower in his hands.
You can have a lot of fun painting him, or if your equipment has multi-color printing capabilities, you can make things even simpler.
If you don't want him to be lonely, the designer has also created an equally adorable companion.
In terms of 3D printing, a lower layer height will help achieve smoother details – especially when printing on a smaller scale.
The print settings shared by the designer include a layer height of 0.08 mm, 2 perimeters, 15% infill, and the use of tree supports, all of which extend the print time to nearly 3 hours at the default size.
Maker TheBigSlice successfully scaled down the parts by 300%, but in this case, printing took about 14 hours.
Protognome
With its flexible and charming design, this is the perfect model for anyone who enjoys creative 3D printing.
A particularly cool aspect of the Protognome is that there are two beard options.
You can create a regular, neat beard printed as a "static" part, or you can opt for a gnome with a wagging beard, as shown in the picture above.
This model is divided into interlocking parts, so you don't need to worry if you don't have a multi-color setup.
The recommended print settings are 15-20% infill and a layer height of 0.2 mm, with supports needed for the hat and optional supports for the beard.
The designer also notes that due to tolerances when printing parts separately, some sanding and gluing may be required.
Support-Free Gnome

Every gnome has unique features and personality, and perhaps one of the greatest features of this particular design is that the prominent beard requires no supports!
You can paint it, use special filament, or just keep it solid — either way, it will look great!
If you're interested in making the most of Bambu Lab's AMS, MakerWorld creators have shared print profiles specifically designed for this setup.
This design has received high ratings on various repository websites.
Default settings (such as a 0.2 mm layer height, 15% infill, and 2 walls) should work well; for a single color, it will take almost 3 hours.
There are a total of 7 modified versions of this famous gnome on Printables and Thingiverse.
The range of options is quite wide, from checkerboards to ornaments and eyeglass holders, which also make interesting gift ideas!
Baby Gnome

For those looking to add a touch of cuteness and creativity to a baby's room, as a baby shower decoration, or just to have something adorable around, the Baby Gnome model is an irresistible choice.
Its charming design combines delicate details with playful shapes, making it an excellent choice for those who enjoy personalized 3D models.
To print the Baby Gnome, the designer shared a profile with a layer height of 0.16 mm, 3 walls, and 10% infill, ensuring a sturdy model.
Prints can be done in multiple colors or a single hue, and you can find files in both STL and 3MF formats.
Remember, while PLA is relatively food-safe, exercise caution when creating products like the one shown above.
Shmebulock from Gravity Falls
If you're a fan of Gravity Falls and want to add some of the series' magic and humor to your collection, printing Shmebulock might be the perfect choice.
This little gnome is cursed to repeat his own name due to a 1000-year-old curse.
And, Shmebulock isn't the only gnome in Gravity Falls, so it's natural for some to confuse him with other magical creatures, such as Steve.
While the unique Shmebulock is purely decorative, Steve's design is functional, adding fun to toothpaste dispensing.
Although there are no shared print settings recommendations for the two gnomes, given the suspended position of their hands, it's easy to imagine that supports would be needed.
For reference, the print settings used in the creation shown above were a 0.2 mm layer height and 20% infill.
Gnome Keychain

Gnomes always appear in gardens, forests, and almost any safe place they can find!
These adorable creatures can be mischievous, but they can also be very affectionate and are easy to carry around in your pocket.
Why not print a mini guardian to watch over your heart and keys, readily accessible?
Even if you already have a cool keychain, it can serve as a decorative accessory for your bag or backpack.
This model is approximately 50 x 15 mm and is designed to be printed with a two-color profile via AMS.
That said, if you follow the guide in the picture above for inspiration, painting shouldn't be difficult.
For the settings, the designer shared print profiles that include a 0.2 mm layer height, 2 perimeters, and 15% infill, all of which mean approximately 5 hours of printing time.
