I. Safety Warnings

Please strictly follow the instructions below when using the printer.

The DWS XFAB 3D printer uses photosensitive resin, which can be dangerous if it comes into contact with skin and eyes. Therefore, extreme caution should be exercised when using the printer. In case of skin contact, rinse the affected area with plenty of water to avoid irritation. If it comes into contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water for about 15 minutes, then seek emergency medical attention immediately.

Dried resin residue can damage the printer. Therefore, ensure that any resin remaining on the printer is cleaned immediately.

Resin should be handled or disposed of according to local legal requirements.

Tampering with the printer and its components is strictly prohibited. This is especially important for the laser light to avoid jeopardizing its safety.

If any defects or malfunctions are noted, contact the manufacturer immediately.

During the processing phase, do not:
1. Move the 3D printer.
2. Disconnect the power and computer power.
3. Disconnect the network connection.
4. Open the cover.
Do not alter the machine or software in any way. The manufacturer will disclaim all responsibility for any malfunctions after modifications to the machine or software.

VII. Intended Use

XFAB is a stereolithography 3D printer (a 3D printer that uses laser light to cure photosensitive resin into shape (class 3B)).

The XFAB can be used to create 3D printed models from any 3D design constructed using 3D CAD software. Data is imported and processed using the "Fictor" software installed on a computer, connected to the printer via USB. The system then forwards the data to the printer, which produces a 3D model by layering cured resin.

The equipment should only be used for its intended purpose.

Processing materials (resin type and storage)

For detailed information on resins, please refer to the XFAB material foil.
Warning: Do not use resins other than those specified by the manufacturer.
Store resin in a sealed container, away from light, light sources, and heat sources, at a temperature between 10°C and 30°C. Use the resin within one year after the manufacturing date shown on the label. Shake the resin before use.
Warning: Before use, wear safety gloves and goggles to avoid contact of resin with skin and eyes.

Warning: Do not use ethanol (alcohol) to clean the protective cover.
Warning: Do not use a spray gun to clean the machine.

② Platform cleaning (solid and liquid resin)
After each use, clean the platform with ethanol (alcohol) and a lint-free cloth, ensuring all traces of cured resin are removed so that the quality of future printed models is not affected.

③ Resin tank cleaning
Unused resin may remain in the printer tank. Ensure the cover is closed. Alternatively, place it in a sealed container, in a dark place, away from light or heat sources.
If necessary, empty the tray and clean the inside with ethanol (alcohol). For the outside, use an alcohol-free product and a lint-free cloth.
