Vacuum forming technology is a common plastic processing method used in many industries. Today, we're unboxing the industrial-grade "Formech 450DT Vacuum Forming Machine," which features a semi-automatic operating system, fast-heating quartz heaters, and a large work platform. The Formech 450DT uses a digital operating interface, and the special quartz heating plate on the upper layer can be smoothly pulled out. We're using a model 3D printed with Ultimaker for our test. The editor is eager to see the forming results!
Before use, remember to remove the latch on the back of the Formech 450DT machine to allow the quartz heating plate to move freely back and forth.
The Formech 450DT has four heating plates. The touchscreen allows individual setting of zone temperatures and localized heating. The quartz heating tubes used can quickly and stably heat the plastic, saving time and energy while uniformly heating the surface of each material sheet.

Industrial vacuum forming machines can use a variety of material sheets with diverse thickness options. The Formech 450DT's touchscreen allows for easy data setting, and the equipment can save parameter records for each material sheet type after forming.
The material clamp frame has two clamps. After placing the vacuum forming material sheet, adjust the screw tension according to the material sheet thickness to ensure the edges of the material sheet are correctly clamped during the vacuuming process.
After setting the heating time, pull the heating plate to the front. At this point, the material sheet will begin to heat and soften. To ensure operational safety, the Formech 450DT has a built-in safety interlock device. The quartz heating plate can only move freely back and forth when the lever is pressed all the way back, lowering the work platform to its lowest position.
Once everything is ready, push the handle forward and down, and the work platform will move up to meet the material sheet. Now, just press the vacuum forming button to quickly and effortlessly complete the vacuum forming process. The Formech 450DT's automatic demolding function automatically blows the material sheet off the mold, allowing for one-button demolding!
