.Singapore Office
Ultimaker, the leading global 3D printer manufacturer, has opened a new office in Singapore to meet the growing demand for Ultimaker 3D printers in the Asia-Pacific region! Benjamin Tan, former channel director at Dassault Systèmes (a company specializing in 3D design software, 3D digital mockups, and product lifecycle management), has been appointed as Ultimaker's APAC Vice President in Singapore.
Ultimaker has grown rapidly in just seven years, becoming a global market leader with powerful, professional, and easy-to-use desktop 3D printers. Jos Burger, CEO of Ultimaker, stated: "3D printing is not just for prototyping. It is a reliable and easy-to-use technology that is driving the next revolution in manufacturing. This is already evident in some of the world's leading large enterprises: companies like Volkswagen, Ford, Jabil, Decathlon, and Bosch all use Ultimaker 3D printers to operate smarter and accelerate innovation; we see an increasing reliance on Ultimaker 3D printers among large enterprise clients and innovative SMEs in the APAC region.

By opening an office in Singapore, we can provide better local service and support our thriving economic and trade cooperation network in the Asia-Pacific region, taking a new step in the process of global localized digital manufacturing. I am delighted to have Benjamin Tan join us in Singapore, and I believe his extensive experience and expertise in channel management make him the best candidate for this role." Benjamin Tan, Ultimaker's APAC Vice President, believes that the potential for 3D printing technology development in the region is immense.
"In addition to a deeper understanding of 3D printing in the Asia-Pacific region, according to the Wohlers Report, the APAC region is expected to achieve 30% of the global 3D printing market share. We will leverage business development to target multinational corporations in APAC, working closely with them to improve supply chains. The reason Ultimaker differentiates itself from competitors is not just the perfect combination of reliable equipment, software, and materials; the freedom of employees, innovative spirit, and strong sales channels also contribute to the company's leading global position, and I am delighted to be a part of this team."

In addition to announcing this major news, our professionals also brought back more technical and maintenance experience after the training; for example, internal disassembly and assembly of machines, new accessories that will be combined with future developed products, the expanded applications of the Ultimaker S5, etc. We will continue to share and test these with everyone, and provide better after-sales service.
In the future, we also plan to hold exchange or technical sharing sessions to help everyone become more familiar with the application areas of 3D printing. For those who don't want to miss out, please continue to follow 3DMart's latest news!
