【3D Printing News】Ultimaker Competition Award Ceremony Part 2 - Zhonghe High School

Previously, Ultimaker held an "Education Challenge" competition to encourage 3D printing education. Another winning participant from Taiwan was from Zhonghe High School.
Just yesterday, 3DMart brought abundant prizes and certificates to hold an award ceremony and a complete machine training course.
On that day, we received a warm welcome from the school. The enthusiastic and cheerful Principal Ko Ya-ling (pictured center) and Library Director Kuo Hui-min (pictured left) chatted with us about many educational philosophies and expressed their gratitude for the resources brought to the school by this event.

Later, the directors also successively joined the conversation, and everyone was very happy. After all the staff had arrived, our official award ceremony began!!!

Our General Manager, Artem, presented the awards. The winner was the beautiful and generous art teacher, Wu Chia-pei (second from right).
The prizes included a high-quality dual-extruder 3D printer, Ultimaker 3, and 8 rolls of self-selected Ultimaker official filament.

There was also a small, cute trophy printed on our Ultimaker 3 printer. The exquisite detail also made Ms. Wu praise it repeatedly, exclaiming that the print quality was truly excellent.

Next came the main event of this trip!
The Ultimaker 3D printer training course, starting with simple machine installation, guided the teachers step-by-step on how to use it.

Next was the introduction to the printing operation menu. Everyone listened very attentively, and for important parts, they even took out their phones to record.

After completing the explanation of 3D printer operation, we were ready to start printing! We prepared the downloaded Cura slicing software and loaded a preferred 3D model (it was a Switch stand that one of the teachers privately wanted to print). We also explained many slicing parameter settings and functionalities.

Finally, due to time constraints, we first taught everyone how to clean the nozzle. The cleaning method was much simpler compared to other printer brands, which also made the teachers exclaim repeatedly, saying it was too convenient!!!

We are very grateful to Ultimaker for organizing this very meaningful competition, rewarding passionate educators, and providing us with this valuable opportunity to further connect with Taiwanese schools. We hope to have more opportunities in the future to collaborate with the education sector and allow more students to have the chance to learn about the latest 3D printing technology.
