[3D Printers] 2015 Technology Trend Gold Award: Who Will Win the DIY Popularity Award?

The Ultimaker 2 is the star that was nominated in the Fabrication Equipment category and won the Popularity Award! This high-quality 3D printer from the Netherlands boasts a fine layer thickness as low as 20 microns and a printing speed of 300mm/s. Its sleek and elegant design, along with its compact size, belies a large build volume. Both its hardware and software are open source, ensuring high stability.
