【3D Printing Lecture】Recap of 2023 NTUEE MakeNTU Workshop
We were honored to be invited to participate in the 2023 NTUEE MakeNTU workshop. MakeNTU focuses on hardware and software implementation, inspiring makers' creativity and practical abilities. Makers will create physical works that are most relevant to the theme in a short period of time, providing the best stage for ideation, self-learning, and implementation! Therefore, 3DMart specially prepared two 3D printers for the workshop to introduce to the participating students, as a warm-up for the actual competition! Let's review the exciting content of the workshop!
Before the workshop began, the staff arrived early to set up the equipment. To ensure that students could fully experience the actual printing of a 3D printer, 3DMart brought two very powerful 3D printers, hailed worldwide as game changers in the 3D printing industry—the Bambu Lab X1 Carbon Combo 3D Printer was brought to the workshop! High-speed printing, flow rate of 20 m/s², support for 16-color printing, support for various filament materials, and so on. Printing an object about 3 cm in size at the workshop took approximately 15-20 minutes to complete! It is very suitable for students to complete the main structural printing objects within the short 24-hour competition time.
When the 3D printer was doing test prints, the students present were very enthusiastic with their questions! Everyone was very curious about how powerful the Bambu Lab could be.
Of course, not just the Bambu Lab, 3DMart also brought the highly cost-effective Snapmaker 2.0 3-in-1 3D Printer / A350T, which integrates 3D printing, laser engraving, and CNC milling technology. Its modular design makes machine assembly easier, and it comes with a touch screen, making it easy for both beginners and experienced users to operate!
If there is a sudden power outage during the competition, the Snapmaker 2.0 3-in-1 3D Printer / A350T has a power-off resume function. After restarting the power, the machine will remember previous operation records and continue 3D printing. There's no need to worry about reprinting everything, which won't waste students' competition time!
The modular design allows for instant function changes based on students' needs. For example, if students temporarily need laser engraving or CNC woodworking engraving, they can quickly switch functions, which is both fast and simple!
The 3DMart staff were very enthusiastic in answering students' questions! We hope to resolve any doubts for the students, so they leave without confusion!
