[3D Print Unboxing] Do 3D Printed Objects Need a Spa Treatment?!

Modern people are busy and stressed with work. After a hard week, men might want to unwind with some alcohol, while women might prefer a steam spa to relieve their physical and mental fatigue.
But you'd never guess that 3D printed objects might also need alcohol and a spa treatment?!

Polymaker's new product, PolySmooth™, is a new material that can be polished with alcohol.
Its printing conditions are almost identical to PLA, and it boasts features such as ease of printing, extremely low warping, good mechanical strength, and easy support removal.
Most importantly, it can be paired with the Polysher™, a cool and easy-to-use alcohol vapor polisher, to eliminate layer lines on printed parts and create a smooth surface finish!

The Polysher was a popular crowdfunding project on Kickstarter last year, highly anticipated for its ability to eliminate the most bothersome layer lines.
This year, their product is finally in mass production and launched! 3DMART is the official distributor for this product line in Taiwan and Hong Kong!
To celebrate the launch of the new product! Partners who order and pay for a Polysher before July 7, 2017, will receive a free spool of PolySmooth material! This is an amazing deal – please spread the word!
Alright, enough talk! Let's take a look at the photos! Our brand new unboxed PolySher and PolySmooth samples printed with the Ultimaker 3D printer!

The Polysher comes in a small box, but its functionality is very complete! Let's open it up and see!

Opening the box reveals the complete packaging, with cardboard padding all around to prevent damage during shipping!

The machine itself comes pre-assembled! You can take it out and start using it immediately!

All the included parts, including the base, alcohol reservoir lid, and various international plugs, allow you to travel the world with it!

The control interface is very simple! The power button is on the bottom right, the top left controls platform elevation, the top right is for lighting, and polishing time is controlled by the knob in the middle top.

After pouring in the alcohol, it's ready to use! Now, let's look at the new material!

Has everyone watched the Marvel series movies? My two favorite characters are Spider-Man and Iron Man, and their new movies are coming out in July!
The impatient editor immediately used a
Lulzbot Mini to print a bust to satisfy my craving!

Look at that vacant gaze; I can feel the protagonist's inner fatigue. Without further ado, let's help him "relax"!

It feels so good bathing in alcohol vapor.....気持ちいい~~~ (Kimochi-ii - Feels good~~~)

Ta-da! Doesn't the vapor polished finish look completely refreshed?! The original weary expression is gone, replaced with spirit and vitality!

As heroes, you work tirelessly to save the world. Now it's our turn to save you from those layer lines!

Maintaining a consistently handsome pose as he falls into the trap. Usually, Spider-Man sprays the bad guys, but today, he's the one getting sprayed all over!

Ah... so much alcohol and vapor... it makes me want to go in for a steam myself... (mistake)... Look at him, all sweaty... damn it... I want to...

Oh my god, this "alcohol-steamed" Spider-Man looks so delicious! He's radiating with a glow, as if he's transformed from Spider-Man into a +10 Spider-Man, just as amazing!

Let's print another one with the Lulzbot Mini, but you can still see some marks where the supports were removed.

But after a spray with Polysher, the surface becomes perfectly clean, even more amazing than any laser facelift or hyaluronic acid treatment!!!

Next, we also produced the bicycle bottom bracket parts that we usually print for material testing. Let's see what the effect will be like!

Place it in the Polysher for 10 minutes, and you'll see a noticeable effect. I really wish steaming my face could also polish my skin...

With such a smooth surface, even if it's directly installed on a bicycle, no one would think it was a 3D printed product!

Everyone has seen The Avengers - but what about the Polysher alliance?
