【3D Printing News】Ultimaker Global Conference: Rebranding, A New Look!
As the exclusive distributor of Ultimaker in Taiwan, 3DMart sends delegates to the original manufacturer annually for regular training, to absorb new software and hardware technologies, and to train internal engineers. This ensures that we can provide faster, better professional advice and after-sales service to our customers. Facing the increasing demand for Ultimaker products and the growing need for 3D printing, Ultimaker's headquarters have gradually expanded. This year, our delegates visited the new headquarters office located in Utrecht, the fourth-largest city in the Netherlands.
The Ultimaker team currently has 400 employees. This growth indicates the need for more personnel, thus requiring a larger location closer to the city center for its headquarters. "Utrecht is an excellent location, providing a business hub, social functions, and various entertainment options," emphasized Marrit Hoffmans, Product Marketing Manager.
A New Look, Enduring Quality
In addition to relocating its office, Ultimaker has reshaped its brand image, presenting a clean, modern, and professional visual style. Just like the new office, it reflects the future content and direction of Ultimaker. Ultimaker's office occupies two entire floors of the office building and is located next to Utrecht Central Station, making it convenient for clients to visit and for airport transfers. The interior of the office features open spaces and modern design, perfectly embodying product value and Ultimaker's corporate philosophy.
Although Ultimaker has moved to a new city, the manufacturing plants are still located in the small towns of Geldermalsen and Zaltbommel in the Netherlands, maintaining the EU standard for 3D printer manufacturing quality. Looking Ahead
Currently, the free software Ultimaker Cura has over 500,000 monthly users and prints approximately 1.4 million objects per week. In the future, using Ultimaker will provide access to more systematic services. Beyond the physical capabilities offered by 3D printers, it will connect the entire range of convenient functions, from the Cura pre-printing software, Ultimaker Cloud platform, Marketplace material supply chain, and multi-3D printer management system, accelerating the ability of enterprise users to produce and develop products, and perform internal prototyping.
