【Laser Cutting Application】Lion King Detail Showdown: MUSE vs. FLUX Engraving Test!
Laser processing can engrave and cut a wide variety of materials, and choosing the right equipment can often be a challenge. Today, we'll be comparing two laser cutting machines, the MUSE and the FLUX Beambox, in terms of speed and resolution, to help you find the laser cutter that best suits your needs! Watch the actual test video:
For fairness, we used 3mm wood panels and images of the Lion King to test the engraving effects of both lasers. The Lion King's dense mane, majestic aura, and delicate contours – let's see how the engraving turned out.

Contestant #1: MUSE Laser Cutter
In RetinaEngrave, MUSE's dedicated software, you can not only edit image size and position, but also make advanced adjustments to resolution, power, speed, and blur.

Contestant #2: FLUX Beambox Laser Cutter
In FLUX's dedicated editing software, there are two modes for images: threshold and gradient. We chose the gradient mode and tested with 35% power and 85% speed. Compared to the MUSE, the Beambox has stronger laser intensity and larger laser dot particles, making higher speeds more suitable. The overall effect is rougher and more uninhibited.
