Confirm the port name:

- For Mac systems, choose a port name starting with tty.usb.
- For Windows systems, confirm the port name that appears when connected (e.g., COM1, COM2, COM3, etc.). If you are unsure which port number it is, first open the port options, remove the USB cable connected to the machine, and identify which port number disappears. That is the correct port to select.

If connected to the wrong port, the connect button will appear orange; if correct, it will show green.

- Start Engraving -

Focusing

Rotate the focus ruler down, then pull the laser head down until the focus ruler just touches the material. Then move the focus ruler back up to its original position. Always ensure the focus is correct before each engraving.

Import Engraving Test File

Click "Menu" > "File" > "Examples" > "Swiftray Examples".

Preview Engraving Position:

After importing the file, click "Frame," and the laser head will project a light dot to preview the border of the engraving pattern. If the light dot is not clear, you can temporarily remove the orange laser shield and replace it before starting to engrave.

The machine will start engraving after clicking "Start".
