On November 15, FUNMAT PRO 310, a new member of the INTAMSYS FUNMAT series, was officially launched globally. The launch took place simultaneously through a live online broadcast from INTAMSYS's Shanghai headquarters and at Formnext Frankfurt.
FUNMAT PRO 310 integrates various cutting-edge technologies to achieve perfect printing with various engineering materials, allowing engineers to focus on business innovation and meet the needs of diverse application scenarios.

 
Chamber Temperature and Print Forming
Print forming size is an important reference factor for users when selecting equipment. Currently, most desktop 3D printers still face challenges in achieving large-sized and full-sized object forming in actual printing processes, often experiencing warping, deformation, delamination, and cracking, leading to print failures. This is because the filament is in a high-temperature molten state when extruded by the print head, and if the ambient temperature drops too quickly during the forming process, internal stress will be present in the material.
 

At the same time, poor inter-layer bonding should be avoided as much as possible during the forming process. However, relying solely on bed heating cannot ensure temperature consistency during forming. Therefore, a sealed chamber design and an evenly stable chamber temperature are preferred conditions for ensuring perfect print forming.

Excellent Constant Temperature Chamber Design Brings True Full-Size Forming Capability for Engineering Plastics
The FUNMAT PRO 310 features a fully sealed and insulated design, reducing heat loss. The heating temperature within each area of the chamber is uniform and stable, reaching a maximum of 100℃, achieving true large-format, full-size forming of engineering plastics at 305x260x260mm.
 
Stable Output and High-Quality Printing
"Reliability" is a high praise for a printer, and all efforts made by the FUNMAT PRO 310 are aimed at making industrial-grade high-quality printing more accessible to customers.
The independent dual-nozzle design, combined with support material solutions, ensures the surface quality of complex structural parts. The plug-and-play, easy-to-disassemble modular independent dual-nozzle design allows for flexible dual-nozzle, duplicate, and mirror printing. It provides perfect water-soluble and easy-peel support material solutions for various engineering materials such as ABS/PC/PC-ABS/PA/PA-CF, ensuring the surface precision of formed parts and achieving high-quality complex structural forming.


 

 
Combined with engineering material support solutions, it ensures the forming quality of complex structural objects and flexibly implements duplicate and mirror printing with dual-drive gear extrusion, bringing greater torque and higher reliability. Dual-channel cooling provides stronger cooling capacity and automatic speed adjustment. The fully sealed material chamber design, paired with reusable molecular sieves, and active dehumidification function, maintains long-term low humidity inside the chamber, eliminating the need for repeated filament drying and ensuring the long-term printing quality of hygroscopic materials such as nylon (PA).



 
Rigid Structural Frame Design for Improved Printing Accuracy
The entire machine features a rigid metal frame, reducing vibrations during printing. Combined with a high-precision motion control system, it achieves long-term continuous and stable printing. The independent sheet metal frame reduces printing vibrations. The XYZ-axis frame and chamber heating are independently designed to prevent high temperatures from causing frame deformation and reduce mechanical thermal expansion. The printhead has a maximum movement speed of 500mm/s and a maximum printing speed of 120mm/s.

Intelligent Design and Full-Process Control
7-inch full-color touchscreen with a new UI interface for quick and easy setup and printing after simple adjustments. Intelligent grid multi-point auto-leveling compensates for motion accuracy in real-time, eliminating the need for manual calibration for quick and easy operation. With automated task queue management and rich API interfaces, it seamlessly integrates with MES systems, meeting customer needs for Industry 4.0.

Multi-point Grid Auto-Leveling
The leveling module offers two modes: 4×4 and 10×10 points. It compensates for motion accuracy in real-time, eliminating the need for manual calibration, making it quick and easy to use.

Intelligent path planning algorithms based on different goals meet customers' multi-scenario application needs; it includes a wealth of material process packages accumulated over many years of experience, combined with intelligent printability detection for parts to improve print success rates; network printing function supports visual monitoring, traceable production history data, and online diagnosis and maintenance, achieving full-process printing control.
