【3D Printing Application】Halloween: Trick or Treat Scare Props

The fun Western holiday - Halloween - is fast approaching. On this day, everyone dresses up as ghosts and monsters, wearing strange costumes. Children go out trick-or-treating. This time, we used the Ultimaker 3Extended 3D printer to print some Halloween-related small items to celebrate and provide some inspiration for everyone.

First, let's use the 3D printer to print a pumpkin! The pumpkin body and lid are printed separately~~~

The first one
is a cute yet mischievous pumpkin-shaped storage box. The lid can be opened to put in some delicious candies or small items.

Using Ultimaker orange PLA filament to 3D print the pumpkin gives a very rich color, a must-have for Halloween.

Don't worry about the gaps in the eyes; candies won't easily fall out.

We also printed a fierce-looking pumpkin head, much scarier, isn't it!

The second item is Frankenstein with a bloody red brain. Frankenstein is printed with colorfabb glow-in-the-dark filament, so it emits an eerie green glow in the dark.

Let's see the effect in the dark!

Pretty scary, right? If you came home to a dark house and saw this, you might accidentally scream!

Next up is the bloody brain, printed with red Polysmooth filament. After printing, it's paired with a Polysher alcohol polishing machine to create a smooth and delicate effect, just like a human brain.
.
Place it in the alcohol polishing machine for about 10 minutes. If you want a smoother and more moist feel, leave it for longer.
We also have an unboxing article for the alcohol polishing machine. If you're interested, you can see more polishing effects of 3D printed items.

Frankenstein's head has a recess for the brain. You can also remove the brain and put some small daily items in there?! Although it might feel a bit strange, it's certainly a unique and interesting decoration.

Here's a group photo of the two Halloween props. Have you already decorated your space with a Halloween atmosphere? Why not print some fun decorations to celebrate!

Finally, a reminder that from October 30th to November 13th, we're celebrating 3DMart's third anniversary with special offers. You can check the article for detailed event rules. Don't miss this opportunity to stock up!
