When Functionalize founder Mike Toutonghi was working on a school science project with his son,
he suddenly felt that there must be a better solution than tedious soldering,
to combine structure and circuitry.
He finally found the answer in 3D printing,
and began to research and develop conductive 3D printing filament.
After years of experimentation, "F-Electric" was born.
F-Electric is made with a PLA base compounded with carbon nanotubes.
It has a measured volume resistivity of only 0.75 Ω - CM,
which offers better conductivity than any other 3D printing filament currently available.
It can easily print 3D circuits, buttons, sensors, power connectors,
and various other electronic components.
As long as your 3D printer can use PLA filament,
you can use F-Electric!
