Do you still remember the article we shared before about[3D Printing Materials] nGEN and Engine – Can't tell the difference??
This time, we completed another component of the 22RE four-cylinder engine. However, the material used this time is the familiar PLA.
In addition to being environmentally friendly, PLA has the advantages of lower warpage, good dimensional accuracy, and high hardness in finished products. It is the easiest to print.
However, it also has the disadvantages of being brittle and having low-temperature resistance. But ESUN PLA+'s unique formula increases its toughness by 10 times compared to ordinary PLA.
It has rich and vivid colors and is very easy to print. Let's take a look at the finished product we printed using ESUN PLA+ Light Blue!

Print Parameters:
Printer: Ultimaker 2+
Slicing Software: Cura 15.04.5
Material Used: eSUN - PLA+ Light Blue
Nozzle Diameter: 0.4mm
Layer Height: 0.15mm
Printing Temperature: 195C
Printing Speed: 45mm/s
Support: Enabled (30% fill amount, 0.15mm Z distance)
Printing Time:
Approximately 30 hours

PLA+ has more saturated colors than before, and its strength and toughness have been improved, making it easier to print while maintaining good circularity!

A good machine can make you twice as efficient. If you pair it with good filament, you'll be on cloud nine!
