Making cosplay props or scaled models requires not only essential sculpting and coloring skills but also a slow and meticulous working process. This time, they combined vacuum forming technology to quickly design a realistic monster tooth in just a few simple steps. Here's the complete process:
To make the bottom of the model flatter for subsequent processing, you can pour more plaster into the bottom of the tooth model. Then, place the tooth model into a FormBox vacuum forming machine, and use a transparent casting sheet for vacuum forming. Press down for only 3 seconds! After demolding, cut the material sheet according to the tooth shape, and the base of the prop tooth will be formed.
(The prop mainly uses FormBox clear casting sheets, which are food-safe certified and can be safely in contact with the human body and mouth for up to 8 hours.)
Next, use clay to sculpt the desired shape onto the plaster model, then create a mold using the same steps. Pour dental resin into the mold to create the teeth for the prop. Finally, use paint and alcohol to color and polish the prop.
