【Pressure Forming】Custom Racing Helmets Made on the Multiplier
In motorsports, the design and manufacturing of helmets are crucial, as they must provide safety protection while meeting the racers' needs for personalization and performance.
Recently, the "Multiplier" technology has been applied to the manufacturing of custom racing helmets, offering new options for racers.
In the fast-paced world of NASCAR, drivers spend hours behind the wheel, battling not only competitors but also intense heat.
One of the most effective ways drivers combat the heat is by using a helmet air system, which delivers a steady stream of air directly to the helmet.

Founded by Chris Hladik in North Carolina, Proforming LLC has developed custom air channel systems that keep drivers cool, transforming racing conditions with its innovative helmet air system.

Founder Chris Hladik initially started with vacuum forming and refined the process to a high level, but still encountered quality issues.
While researching pressure forming, he discovered the Mayku Multiplier.
Understanding how it works and how it perfectly pairs with the right materials was eye-opening. When he received it and thoroughly tested it, he couldn't stop smiling for days.

They meticulously designed cooling channels using the Multiplier.
Custom air channels deliver cool air directly to the driver's helmet, keeping them in optimal condition even when cockpit temperatures soar to 140°F.
Furthermore, these parts are capable of withstanding debris impacts at speeds over 200 mph.
And thanks to the equipment's assistance, the turnaround time for custom orders, from concept to delivery, is now remarkably fast, ensuring consistent quality throughout the manufacturing process.

Proforming's designs have been used in the prestigious Cup Series, Xfinity Series, IndyCar Series, as well as the DIRTcar and Sprint Car Series.
Their system uses dedicated air conditioning or ambient air to help regulate the driver's body temperature and improve comfort and performance on the track.

In high-speed races like NASCAR, drivers wear helmets for extended periods, demanding strict requirements for comfort and fit.
Traditional helmet manufacturing methods might struggle to meet the personalized needs of each driver, but the introduction of "Multiplier" technology enhances helmet comfort and safety through precise custom manufacturing.
