【3D Printing News】2019 TCT Show Grandly Held, Drawing Huge Crowds and Excitement!
At the 2019 TCT Show at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, UK, Ultimaker's booth was packed with visitors. The newly launched Ultimaker S3 and S5 Pro Bundle attracted a lot of attention from attendees. Let's take a look at the exciting highlights from Ultimaker at the 2019 TCT Show! In addition to the enthusiastic response and high interest in the new products from the audience, Ultimaker also won an award in the "Automotive Application" category at this year's TCT Show, further enhancing the prestige of Ultimaker 3D printers.

This year's TCT Show featured 300 exhibitors, 62 technical sharing sessions and speeches, and as many as 35 new product launches! These exciting events attracted over 10,000 professional visitors, and Ultimaker also shined at the TCT Show by demonstrating the S5 Pro Bundle 3D printing system, which perfectly combines software, hardware, and materials.

Visitors at the TCT Show gathered to learn about the latest Ultimaker S3 and S5 Pro Bundle system integration technology, which includes the Ultimaker S5 3D printer, with the debut of the latest accessories, the Air Manager and the Material Station.

What interested industry experts the most was the "automatic material changing" function of the Material Station. This technology has 12 material paths inside, and each endpoint is equipped with complex sensors and operating systems. In addition, it has an independent humidity controller and does not require any external drainage pipes; up to six spools of filament can be loaded at a time, which is enough for several days of 3D printing.

The Ultimaker filament wall displayed up to 96 types of 3D printing materials. Supported by Ultimaker's global "Material Alliance," 80 global companies have cooperated to develop filaments that can be used with Ultimaker 3D printers, and also provide automatic parameter settings in the free official Cura slicing software.

Notably, Global Product Marketing Director Rutger Stronks (left) and CMO Nuno Campos (right) also jointly celebrated winning the TCT Show's "Automotive Application Award." This is a great affirmation for the collaborative project between Ultimaker, Ford Motor Company, and Trinckle on the automated design of jigs and fixtures.
