3DMart's first 3D printing lecture after the New Year has concluded! What did the lecture cover? There were also exciting quizzes and prizes after the class. Let's take a look! In addition to refreshments, coffee, and drinks available for everyone, so you wouldn't go hungry or doze off, there were also various 3D printing samples for everyone to admire and ask questions about, with staff on hand to explain them in detail.
First, we briefly introduced three different 3D printing molding technologies, as understanding the principles is the first step to proper application. We also explained the process of converting from a desktop 3D printer Ultimaker to metal casting and metalwork products, expanding the range of applications.

This time, we also explained and demonstrated the process of using the Ultimaker S5 in more detail, including the differences and usage tips for the dual nozzle system, which is perfect for new operators.

Furthermore, based on feedback from the previous session, everyone hoped to see a live demonstration of a 3D printer in action. We used the latest Ultimaker S5 as a demonstration. In addition to professional engineers demonstrating the operation, we also specifically allowed friends present to try changing nozzles, cleaning, and loading/unloading materials themselves.

This course also detailed the various functions of Cura 3.6. Although this software is developed by Ultimaker and is free, it also supports various other brands of machines and materials. In addition to the powerful function of automatically calculating support material, you can also manually adjust the post-calculation support requirements and positions, allowing for highly intuitive modification, left/right movement, or deletion.

Finally, we conducted a fun in-class quiz, which everyone enjoyed thoroughly, feeling both nervous and excited! The top three winners received our prize—a free 3D printing service card, offering one free 3D printing service, allowing you to have a customized souvenir!

Those who fully participated in this event and passed the quiz will receive a 3D printing lecture certificate, allowing you to take home a wealth of new skills!

Don't be sad if you missed this event; we will continue to hold 3D printing lecture courses in the future. Here's also an online version of the " Comparison of Common 3D Printing Technologies" from the class; the editor secretly tells you: there are new plans coming soon, so please continue to follow our fan page so you don't miss any good news!
