[3D Printing News] 3D Printing Car Parts, This Is How It's Done!
Do you still think 3D printing car parts is limited to small items like gears and screws? Today, 3DMART will show you how muchUltimaker 3 Extended 3D Printer has advanced.Everyone has a basic understanding of 3D printing.
It's usually associated with printing toys, small parts, electronic product casings, etc.
This time, 3DMART is going to print aSUV rearview mirror!!!!
Here's a sample to give you a taste of the speed.
First, a brief introduction: a rearview mirror is composed of several different components.
Besides the surface requirements for the casing, the internal structural components must be complete for assembly.
We use theUltimaker 3 Extended 3D printer with PLA and PVA soluble material.
No matter how complex the part structure, it's no challenge for us.

This time, the part is larger (over 20 cm), so we used the Ultimaker 3 Extended for printing.

Due to the complex shape of the object, there were many overhanging parts during placement. This was a chance forPVA soluble material to show its function, adhering to every corner to ensure that thePLA could be printed completely.
After soaking in water....................

Not only are the components of the object perfectly rendered, but the surface quality is also excellent.

Each piece is a highly precise sample, so without further ado, let's assemble them to see the effect!!!

Friends who came toCOMPUTEX must have already seen the real thing!!!
