This year, 3DMart is honored to be invited to Solid Edge University 2025.
This is an annual event hosted by Siemens Solid Edge, bringing together experts and users in the CAD/CAM/CAE fields.
It's an engineering grand event with both depth and breadth. On-site, we not only got a glimpse of the latest features but also conducted live 3D printing demonstrations and exchanged ideas with peers from around the world, gaining a lot.
The "Solid Edge University Taiwan" event, jointly hosted by Siemens Digital Industries Software Taiwan and CAD Technology, was held yesterday (18th) in the 3rd-floor international hall of The Lin Hotel in Taichung. Nearly 500 professionals attended, filling the venue to capacity. On-site, vendors using Siemens industrial software also set up booths to interact directly with guests.
Key features of Solid Edge 2025 include AI assistant, the cloud platform "Solid Edge X," and "Sheet Metal Deep Optimization," which inspire us in structural optimization and cost control.
Expert case studies on industry trends and digital deployment showcased practical applications across multiple industries, helping attendees understand the important applicability of smart manufacturing.
At the same time, 3DMart utilized the free time on-site to interact with engineers and customers, providing practical applications for the integration of Solid Edge and high-end 3D printing.
3DMart showcased two Bambu Lab 3D printers on-site: the Bambu Lab A1 Combo and the Bambu Lab H2D.
Bambu Lab 3D Printers
The Bambu Lab A1 Combo boasts high speed and multi-material printing, with a printing speed of up to 500 mm/s and support for various materials like PLA, ABS, and TPU.
The A1 has a stable structure and is easy to operate, featuring auto-calibration and intelligent monitoring, making it quick to learn and ideal for engineers to print rapidly on-site.
With its moderate size and high cost-effectiveness, the A1 is the ideal choice for rapid production scenarios.
The Bambu Lab H2D offers the advantage of a large build volume and dual nozzles, with a print space of 32×32×32 cm, capable of handling large prints or batch output of small items simultaneously.
It features a versatile modular design, allowing for expansion with laser engraving, blade cutting, and drawing functions in addition to 3D printing, making it an integrated creative tool.
The new AMS 2 Pro and AMS HT systems come with heating functions and ventilation control, capable of drying filament and controlling temperature within the enclosed chamber, effectively preventing material warping due to moisture.
The H2D maintains low noise and high-quality output even during high-speed printing, demonstrating stable performance, making it a versatile all-in-one 3D printer for professionals and creative needs.
